In the period 16-18 October 2020 was organized the reenectmant related to the Independence War 1877-1878

The event reunited over than 180 participants which with the support of the technical team of the “Storie with Horses" movie House and coordinated in the field by the representatives of Soldierly Tradition Association from Bucharest and Edinenie Association from Sofia and Vidin putted in the scene , during three days the scenario of battle reconstruction.

In the first day of event the participants were introduced in the historical atmosphere with explanations regarding the military strategy used in the period of the 1877-1878, by the Romanian Army in the Independence War. After this short presentation the students goes in the field/place of Reenactment already prepared by the project team with the support of local authorities and the general rehearsal continued during all the day, the participants repeat the scenario which included movement of the troops, handling weapons and attack tactics. Each participant received task and different role in the battle reconstruction.

In the second day the rehearsal continued with a brief remembrance of the information’s related in the first day and after that the children repeated all the steps and movements learned for the conquest of the first redoubt “Grivita 1”. They received information’s related to the place of the cannons in the field, the movement of these cannons and also was mark the places where will be the ground impact effect. The childrens were instructed to avoid this ground impact effect, to stay in the safe area and to be careful in the weapon handling. In the second day of the training were used pyrotechnics materials (blank bullets, guns shoots, ground impact effect and also smoke machineries) for each of this elements the children received information’s and they have been trained in the handle canons.

The third day started with the contest the by historical theme organized for the participants in the area of the “Marincu Museum Calafat”, followed by the photo exhibition organized inside and outside of the museum. The event continued in the area of Independence Monument 1877-1878 with the reconstruction of the battle following the scenario repeated along to three days of military training. The event was presented by the 3 actors, during the spectacle was presented the action to the large audience.

The event was concluded with the awarding ceremony where the representatives of local authorities and the participants received the memory plaques and the brochures dedicated for this event, promotional materials developed in the project.
