Training with Military theme organized in Corabia

The third “Military Training" was organized in Corabia on November 1-3, 2019 at the headquarters of Sucidava Fortress and consisted of Reconstruction of combat sequences, coordinated by professionals from the film house “Stories with Horses", an event that involved stuntmen and volunteers dressed in uniforms representative for that historical period – Dorobanti, line infantry, marines, Turks and Russians – equipped with period-specific weapons, war scenes, Turkish assaults, cannon fire, high quality military pyrotechnic effects.

The students involved in this event (15 Romanian and 15 Bulgarian students), during the three days of training, repeated the fight scenario, having as coaches the representatives of the Soldier Tradition Association in collaboration with the director and the team from the film house “Horse Stories". Thus, on the first day they were divided into three camps representing the three armed forces: the Romanian army, the Russian army and the Ottoman army, then they received all the information regarding the scenario that included the attack carried out by the Russian army on the Turkish Redoubt and its rejection. the succession of the request of the Romanian army for help by the Russian army and culminating in the conquest of the Turkish army by the two united armies.
